Roanoke Airport is a regional airport, three miles northwest of Roanoke county, Virginia, USA and covers 912 acres. The airport has two runways and sees over 60 scheduled flights a day. The airport goes back to World War I and was previously named Woodrum Field. Outside the terminal is a 21-foot-high abstract sculpture by the artist Alber Paley.
