The Monocoupe 90 was a two-seat, light cabin airplane built by Donald A. Luscombe. Introduced in June, 1934, the Model 90A was an improved version of the 1930 Model 90. Although structurally the same as the earlier aircraft, it featured a number of significant improvements. In addition to improved aerodynamic streamlining, it featured a cleaner 'wire braced' landing gear, mechanically actuated wing flaps, an interior cabin, and a cabin door that was 50% larger.
This package represents the model 90 and the modifications made from its release in 1934 through the 1940s up to the present day - the 90hp Lambert-powered 90, the 125 and 145 Warner 90AW and the 165hp Model 110 'Clipped Wing'. A 90AW floatplane is also included. The flight dynamics have been programmed to reflect the power plants of each type.
Each model has a detailed and fully functional virtual cockpit which is unique to each version. The models are designed to be flown from the virtual cockpit and there is no 2D panel.
The package includes a bonus scenery add-on that converts Cleveland-Hopkins International Airport to the racing venue at Cleveland Municipal Airport, home of the National Air Races from 1929 to the advent of World War Two.
