INSTALLATION
Every France VFR product provides an automated installation program consisting of one or more executable files, which you should unzip to your desktop first.
Run the first installation program provided (usually bearing the number 1) and follow program instructions. When completed, run the following programs to complete the installation and run the host simulator. You can create or select a flight. Installer supports automatic declaration in scenery library. The installation process completes after your host simulator is launched.
Note: This program installs new dedicated autogen descriptions and a new set of texture for vegetation. It will automatically back up old files in a subdirectory of their home directory. If other programs manages these files, make sure they also offer a back-up.

OPTIMISATION / CONFIGURATION
We strongly recommend that you defragment your hard drive before installing your FRANCE VFR product, in order to obtain better performance loading textures.
If you encounter issues with graphical artifacts or messages indicating a lack of memory, please decrease slider settings for scenic complexity and self-generated density.
32-BIT CONFIGURATION
Our 3D Automation technology is able to generate the full set of buildings for the region, much more than your host simulator can handle! It is strongly recommanded that you use a 64-bit OS like Windows 7 with at least 8GB RAM in order to display the maximum of objects and buildings. With a 32-bit operating system the host simulator cannot display so many objects and you’ll have to deactivate the « xxx – Ground Layer 64bits » in your Scenery Library to avoid memory overflow.
EXTRAS FILES
Some « extras » files have been added separately to make the scenery more efficient. These files are located in the « Extras » directory of the scenery and contains light poles, secondary buildings, local road traffic, small antennas etc.
Depending on your configuration you just have to copy all or some of them into the Scenery directory (at the same directory level) to enable them.
A readme.txt file is provided in the 'Extras' directory for further informations.
CHARTS AND FLIGHT DOCUMENTATION
After installing your product all documentation files and SIA-DIRCAM/DIA airport charts are located in the « \France VFR\ » folder of your main host flight simulator directory.
