Richmond International Airport (IATA: RIC, ICAO: KRIC, FAA LID: RIC) is located just seven miles south-east of downtown Richmond and is the third busiest airport in the Commonwealth of Virginia behind Washington’s Reagan and Dulles airports.

The airport has a crossing X runway layout with a single terminal building containing two concourses and 30 gates. There are close to 150 daily flights and it’s served primarily by airlines flying domestic routes to cities in the South, North-East and Midwest USA.

Richmond International Airport is also an aviation support facility for the Virginia Army National Guard 224th Aviation Regiment.
