• The alpha-numeric buttons on the FMC do not function / I am unable to use the FMC to program in a SID or STAR

The FMC included on the 767-200/300 has limited functionality as it is part of our ‘F-Lite’ range, which offers a less complex experience for those users who do not want a fully simulated FMC.

The FMC reads flight plan data from the default flight planner within Flight Simulator, so the alphabetic part of the CDU keypad does not function.

To insert a SID/STAR into the MCDU, you will need to manually add each of the navigation fixes that make up the SID/STAR to your flight plan using the default flight planner menu.
 
• Security warning in FSX when selecting a 767-200/300 aircraft
The 767-200/300 aircraft requires a gauge to be approved before it can be used in Flight Simulator X. Please accept/run the gauge that is shown in the warning box which will show once you have selected the aircraft to fly from the aircraft selection menu.

In Flight Simulator 2004

Using the drop down menus, select the following:

Aircraft Manufacturer: Commercial Level Simulations

 

In Flight Simulator X

Using the drop down menus across the top of the screen, select the following:

Aircraft Manufacturer: CLS/Just Flight
Publisher: Commercial Level Simulations

Please ensure that you have the "show all variations" box ticked at the bottom of the aircraft selection menu to see all of the variants and liveries available.

• How do I open the cargo doors on the passenger variants of the 767?

 

The cargo hold doors can be opened using the 'Tailhook' key. You might need to assign this in the Flight Simulator control assignments menu.

• I cannot get the aircraft to take off / The aircraft does not respond when I apply back-pressure to the joystick

Please set the elevator trim prior to take-off. The setting of four degrees nose up trim is common for most take-offs.
 
To set the trim for take-off, please hold down the numpad 1 key (with num-lock turned off) until the indicator on the pedestal shows that you have +4 degrees elevator trim set:
 
 
 
• How do I activate the rotating dome on the AWACs aircraft?

To switch on the rotating dome:

  1. Switch to the 2-D cockpit
  2. Click on the arrow icon to the left of the airspeed indicator to bring up the panel icons
  3. Click on the RD icon to open the RotoDome panel

     4.   Rotate the knob from the OFF to ON position by left clicking on it

 

The radar dome should now begin rotating.

• My aircraft appears to have no textures and is appearing white

My aircraft appears to have no textures/is appearing white

If you are running Windows Vista and have a DirectX 10 graphics card, Service Pack 2 installs a selectable preview mode to show how Flight Simulator will look when the DirectX 10 graphics system is fully enabled. It is likely that this will be fully functional in the next version of Flight Simulator. However, one side effect is that any aircraft that are not DX10-ready may be missing their textures. To resolve this you can simply untick the DX10 Preview in the Display Setting menu.

If you don’t see this option in the Display menu then you don’t have a DX10-ready PC and you won’t experience this side-effect




• I am being asked to enter a registration code during installation.

You are being prompted to enter a registration code as the 767-200/300 installer has detected that you do not have FSUIPC installed on your PC.

What is FSUIPC?

FSUIPC is a 3rd party program that is used by various gauges in this aircraft to communicate with the inner working of Flight Simulator.

Why am I being asked to register?

You are being asked to enter your registration code in case you want to unlock the full version. The version of FSUIPC that is included is licensed for this title so no serial number is needed and you can simply cancel the registration screen and your installation will complete as normal.
You only need to purchase a registration is you wish to use the FSUIPC interface yourself.

 

 

• How do I extend the refueling probe/hoses on the tanker aircraft?

To extend the refueling boom/hoses:

  1. Switch to the 2-D cockpit
  2. Click on the arrow icon to the left of the airspeed indicator to bring up the panel icons
  3. Click on the RF icon to open the refueling panel

   4. Click on the L, C or R switches to extend the hose and drogue systems. Click on the BOOM switch to extend the refueling boom.

  • Clickspot added for switching between MAG and TRUE headings (click on whiskey compass)

  • Clickspot added for switching between MAG and TRUE headings (click on whiskey compass)

This update is for use with the Just Flight DVD/Download version of the 767-200/300 pack for FS2004, the 767-200/300 pack for Flight Simulator X and the 767-200/300 dual pack for both FS2004 and Flight Simulator X.

 

 

Installation:

Once the update has downloaded, click on the file to run the update and then follow the on-screen instructions.

You will need to have either the 767-200/300 DVD in the drive or an active licence for the download version installed on your PC

To use these files you will need graphics editing software capable of reading PSD files.

Paintkits are installed to JustFlight>767-200300>Paintkits> within your Flight Simulator directory.
